Meteorologist and TV presenter Kirsty McCabe has presented weather forecasts for a wide range of television and radio channels and is currently weather presenter for BBC Scotland. Previously, Kirsty leant her support to our Wear your Wellies event – an ideal match because regularly presenting outdoor forecasts means she has an enviable collection of wellies of her own. She has also attended one of our lunch events in Scotland.
Kirsty started her career in weather presenting in 2003 when she joined the BBC Weather team. She moved to GMTV in 2009 before taking up her role with BBC Scotland in 2012. She says: "Action Medical Research offers hope to many thousands of families across the UK. As a mum myself, I appreciate just how important this is.”
