British Cycling's Performance Director Sir Dave Brailsford was the man behind Team GB's phenomenal Olympic success in 2004, 2008 and 2012, making them the most successful track cycling team in modern history. Among many plaudits, he has won the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Coach Award twice and received a knighthood in 2013.
Keen to encourage riders of all abilities to get on their bikes, Dave has endorsed the charity's packed schedule of cycling events and attends our Annual CycleSport Dinner [link]. He and British Cycling's Head Coach Shane Sutton have also joined the charity on one of its recent overseas cycling tours.
He said: “I have had the pleasure of cycling with the Action team and cannot recommend their events highly enough to all new and experienced cyclists. Have a great time and enjoy your cycling with Action Medical Research.”
