The Brecon 100 bike ride starts in Caerleon on the outskirts of Newport where the ancient Romans once settled. In your bid to become a cycling Centurian the ride takes a picturesque route towards the Brecon Beacons National Park to conquer the challenging but stunning wilderness that is typical of the area, along with some wicked climbs. You’ll have to overcome a landscape that is open and exposed to the elements to complete this ride whether you choose the 100km or 100-mile route.
