Caro Ramsay

Caro Ramsey has just delivered book four to Penguin ‘The Blood of Crows’. Currently she has several projects on the go; working on book 5, writing for the musical Jack the Ripper and on a play called ‘The Swinging Chicken’ for Radio 4.

Alex Gray

Before taking up writing full time, Alex Gray was a folk singer, a visiting officer for the Department of Social Security and an English teacher. She has been awarded the Scottish Association of Writers' Constable and Pitlochry trophies for her crime writing. Her fourth novel, ‘The Riverman’ was the subject of a choral symphony by composer, Ken Walton.

Edi Stark

Edi Stark established her own independent radio company, Stark Productions, which produces the weekly conversation series Stark Talk for BBC Radio Scotland. In the industry's most coveted and competitive national Sony Radio Academy awards, Edi has won 7 times. In the most recent Sony awards in 2009, she won her second Gold award for best News Special in the UK and bronze for Best Speech Broadcaster in the UK, a category in which she already holds silver and 2 bronzes.
