The Ribble Valley 100 (previously known as Cross Pennine 100) heads out from Roefield Sports and Leisure Centre in Clitheroe, Lancashire and takes in the Yorkshire Dales and even a bit of southern Cumbria (on the longer route). Choose from the gritty 100-mile or the challenging, but achievable 100km circular routes. A great day in the saddle for experienced and novice cyclists alike.
The circular road routes head over into the Yorkshire Dales, returning via East Lancashire (plus southern Cumbria for the 100-mile ride). The challenging, but scenic courses give fantastic views, including Pen-y-Ghent and Ingleborough Hill, as they go through the Gisburn and Bowland Forest areas, the Ribble Valley and over Lancashire moorland.
