Around 300 ladies enjoyed an afternoon hosted by Davina McCall at the Grand Harbour hotel, Southampton and helped raise over £30,000.
MC was Rick Jackson from Wave 105 and John Cameron from BBC TV - ‘Put your money where your mouth is’ and ‘Cash in the Attic’ was our auctioneer. Lots included a behind the scenes BBC News Tour with Fiona Bruce, Strictly Come Dancing tour tickets, VIP tickets to the Rewind Festival, a Mori Lee Prom Dress and a luxury Villa in Spain and Davina kindly donated a beautiful Moschino jacket and Louboutin shoes.
Entertainment was Never 4Get the Take That tribute band, and were brilliant!
Davina said: “I can’t quite believe this is our fifth Dine with Davina! We’re still having just as much fun as ever and most importantly raising money for a charity that is very special to me. I’m lucky enough to have three healthy children but I’m very aware that not every family is as fortunate as ours and Action Medical Research does fantastic work to help some of the UK’s sickest babies and children.”
