Question: Do I need insurance?
Answer: We recommend that you have appropriate cover for you and your bike.
Question: Are spare parts available for my bike?
Answer: Yes, for most common bikes. Spares are chargeable.
Question: What happens if I get lost or get into difficulties on the day?
Answer: On the day you will be given a contact number for our ride control, who will help with any issues.
Question: How long do I have to complete the ride and what happens if I can't complete the distance?
Answer: The ride closes at 6.00pm. Very slow riders may be picked up and moved on.
Question: Do I need to wear a cycle helmet?
Answer: You must wear a cycle helmet to take part.
Question: How old do I need to be to take part?
Answer: You must be at least 16 on the day of the event to take part; if you are under 18 you must be accompanied by an adult.
Question: Is the ride affiliated to Northern Ireland Cycling Federation?
Answer: No, this is not a NICF event.
Question: What facilities are available?
Answer: There are toilets, but no showers at the Start/finish. Your belongings/valuables should be locked in your car or caried with you. You are however asked to bring a change of clothes with you to registration in a labelled bag. This will be accessible at the lunch stop and the finish. There are some WC's along the route and at lunch.
