Last June the Barking Badgers took part in their 4th Action Medical Research challenge and cycled 500km of famous Tour de France Alpine Cols and the infamous Col de Joux Plane in Le Tour du Blaireau, to fund research into advanced techniques in foetal brain scanning.

Following the success of Le Tour du Blaireau, we are heading to Provence to cycle from the breathtaking Gorge du Verdon to the famous Mont Ventoux, the largest mountain in the region and aptly nicknamed 'Giant of Provence'. It has become legendary as one of the most gruelling climbs in the Tour de France.
We will cycle between 60 and 130km a day, with the support of British guides leading the way and providing full mechanical support. Each guide will be assigned to a peleton of 10 cyclists of similar ability. On offer each day are three alternative routes - the Barking route for those that really are, the Badgers route for those that are not so, and the singing badgers route for those who just want to take it a little easier. Whichever route you choose, there will be plenty of opportunity to stop for energy breaks, lunch and to enjoy the scenery.
