Our first Take Action ride in Wales, this superb route presents a stiff challenge as it takes cyclists into the Brecon Beacons where the terrain changes dramatically.  You'll encounter an area of outstanding beauty with some very testing climbs and fast descents. This is sure to be a popular event.

Starting out from Caerleon Campus on the outskirts of Newport the route meanders through quiet counrty lanes towards Brecon encountering some challenging climbs along the way.  The mixed landscape of the route offers dramatic scenery featuring reservoirs, canals and mountains, something for everyone!  And there is the odd sheep dotted along the road!

Accommodation is available at the University Campus at very good rates; why not travel down with friends and make a weekend of it; you won't be disappointed. You can find the accommodation form in the downloads tab.

If you are a seasoned cyclist or a recreational rider, the Brecons 100 has been designed to make sure you have the perfect day in the saddle. The Brecons 100 is fully supported by great route signs, marshals, bike mechanics, back-up vehicles, regular drink points and a fantastic lunch stop. You will be cheered over the finish line as you receive your commemorative Brecons 100 ride medal. Enter now.

Our riders will be helping to stop suffering in children. Every tough mile ridden helps fund medical research to treat sick babies and tackle premature birth, to make life better for children with disabilities, and to target a group of rare diseases that together severely affect many forgotten children.
