This is our key fundraising activity to get your pupils involved in this year - a brand new suitcase for Paddington. Which pupil can decorate a large matchbox to look like Paddington's suitcase and then fit the most items into it? Also, who can raise the most sponsorship money from family and friends? (You could choose to organise small prizes for the winners.)

This is our key fundraising activity for schools. It is very simple to run and the children who did it last year had a whale of a time. Please find below a step by step guide.

1. The children are given an empty Cooks matchbox or make their own box from the template in the fundraising pack which you will receive once you have registered.

2. The children decorate the outside of the matchbox to look like Paddington'S suitcase or a style of their own.

3. The children fill their matchbox with as many different items as possible and ask family and friends to sponsor them on the final amount.

4. The children bring their matchboxes in on Bring Your Bear day for judging on the best deocrated box and dicover which child has the most items in their box.
