The Castle 100 Ride is aimed at all cyclists who are prepared to ride 100 miles for charity, secure in the knowledge that all necessary support is on hand to help participants complete the distance. 2008 will be the third year for this event which has already raised over £45,000, with more than 600 cyclists enjoying this great and challenging ride over the two years!
On Sunday May 18th 2008, we hope to host one of the South East’s biggest century ride with more than 600 riders. It is open to anyone, teams of pairs or ride alone, it’s a great memorable day out for everyone, and you will be helping Action Medical Research to touch yet more lives!
This is a circular 100 mile ride starting and finishing in the historic setting of Tonbridge Castle. After making an early start from the castle ground, the route takes in not only a selection of fine Kent Castles along the way, but also some of the most pretty and untouched parts of the Kent Countryside – including parts of the Pilgrims Way. Villages, country lanes and a stop at a pub for lunch will ensure you have the best day out on your bike and you will be helping us to touch and change lives!
Full support along the route, refreshments and a hearty lunch will mean this challenge is more than possible for you! Have you got what it takes? Then what are you waiting for!?!?
