Down 100Down 100

The Down 100 is our brand new bike challenge in Northern Ireland and we have no doubt that this will be a real hit for experienced cyclists as well as those wanting to take on a distance challenge for the first time. We have a gruelling 100-mile route and a shorter, but still tough, 100-km circular route on offer with both routes including a novel experience of crossing Strangford Lough on the car ferry.

Starting out from the grounds of Strangford College this ride meanders along quiet country lanes passing areas of outstanding scenery, a landscape dotted with loughs, castles and mountains away in the distance.  Rarely will you be away from the waters edge and when you are you'll be tackling the undulations of the countryside.  Sign up now for an awesome experience.

If you are a seasoned cyclist or a recreational rider, the Down 100 has been designed to make sure you have the perfect day in the saddle. The Down 100 is fully supported by great route signs, marshals, bike mechanics, back-up vehicles, regular drink points and a fantastic lunch stop. You will be cheered over the finish line as you receive your commemorative Down 100 ride medal. Enter now.

Our riders will be helping to stop suffering in children. Every tough mile ridden helps fund medical research to treat sick babies and tackle premature birth, to make life better for children with disabilities, and to target a group of rare diseases that together severely affect many forgotten children.
