Essex 100Essex 100

The Essex 100 will see over 500 riders setting out from our new start venue, the Danbury Outdoor Centre, straight into the rolling Essex countryside. Alongside our modified 100-mile route, we have a new 100km route, incorporating the very best of the 100-mile route. Despite Essex's reputation as a flat county, the two routes both include a number of great inclines that will produce some challenges.

The ride takes in some of the best parts of Essex including the ancient village of Thaxted with its splendid windmill and the picture postcard village of Finchingfield, said to be one of the most photographed villages in England.

If you are a seasoned cyclist or a recreational rider, the Essex 100 has been designed to make sure you have the perfect day in the saddle. The Essex 100 is fully supported by great route signs, marshals, bike mechanics, back-up vehicles, regular drink points and a fantastic lunch stop. You will be cheered over the finish line as you receive your commemorative Essex 100 ride medal. Enter now.

Our riders will be helping to stop suffering in children. Every tough mile ridden helps fund medical research to treat sick babies and tackle premature birth, to make life better for children with disabilities, and to target a group of rare diseases that together severely affect many forgotten children.
