Outdoors Show 100
Big thanks and congratulations on taking part and in our fantastic ride on Sunday 29 March and for raising so much money for Action Medical Research. This early season ride attracted 200 riders and apart from some breezy conditions the weather was kind.
Check out and purchase images from the ride at SportivePhoto.
For their support and for supplying the goody bags we thank our good friends at Zipvit.
We have 17 more 100-mile/100km rides still to come so be sure check out our 100-mile bike rides and clock up a few more miles with the Take Action bike team.
Upload your Outdoors Show 100 photos and leave a review of the Outdoors Show 100 cycle ride.
The Outdoors Show 100 is our first challenge event of the season, offering a great opportunity to put your winter training to the test. Starting at the NEC in Birmingham, the Outdoors Show 100 offers you a choice of 100km and 100-mile distances through scenic Warwickshire and into the Cotswolds. You'll be riding through Shakespeare country where the route passes by some famous landmarks associated with the famous playwright.
Both routes take you along quiet country lanes with the longer route offering the tougher challenge of climbing Saintbury Hill and Snowshill on the edge of the Cotswolds. Whether you opt for the 100km or the more challenging 100-mile ride, the Outdoors Show 100 is an early season ride not to be missed. All riders will also receive complimentary tickets to the NEC’s massive Outdoors Show and there is discounted entry available for family and friends - why not make it a day out for all the family!
If you are a seasoned cyclist or a recreational rider, the Outdoors Show 100 has been designed to make sure you have the perfect day in the saddle. The Outdoors Show 100 is fully supported by great route signs, marshals, bike mechanics, back-up vehicles, regular drink points and a fantastic lunch stop. You will be cheered over the finish line as you receive your commemorative Outdoors Show 100 ride medal.
Our riders will be helping to stop suffering in children. Every tough mile ridden helps fund medical research to treat sick babies and tackle premature birth, to make life better for children with disabilities, and to target a group of rare diseases that together severely affect many forgotten children.
