Big thanks and congratulations on taking part in the FOCUS ON IMAGING PhotoPLOD on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 June, and for raising funds for Action Medical Research.
This amazing 40-mile team night walk attracted 35 teams with over 250 walkers, and even though temperatures soared to 28°C, our plodders had a great weekend walking the stunning South Downs Way!

Take part in a 40-mile midnight walk across the South Downs
Join our ultimate endurance challenge - this walk is not for the faint hearted! The FOCUS ON IMAGING PhotoPLOD challenges you to complete the gruelling 40-mile route we have designed for you on the beautiful South Downs Way starting off at midnight. The FOCUS ON IMAGING PhotoPLOD is all about your individual determination to get through, and getting through it is all about teamwork.
As you and your team crosses the finishing line you can look forward to a well deserved hot meal at our Gala dinner. With tired and aching limbs you and your team can look back on your achievements proudly knowing that you have completed 40 miles (64 km) in aid of Action Medical Research.
FOCUS ON IMAGING PhotoPLOD - The Teams...
This is a fantastic and challenging team event for friends, clubs and social groups. Also for corporate organisations looking to create some real team bonding or just some light hearted internal rivalry!
Your team must consist of:
1 team ‘Captain’ (scoring walker) and 5 additional scoring walkers. You will also need at least 1 support team member – with at least one vehicle.
