It is both incredible and tragic to think that 25 babies die every week as a result of being born prematurely and yet we still don't really know why premature birth happens. It should be the happiest time of both parents' lives but, for too many, it turns out to be exactly the opposite. The work Action Medical Research is doing, especially through its Touching Tiny Lives Campaign, is essential in helping us to get closer to understanding one of the most cruel and heartbreaking experiences a family can go through.
