With the support of trained experts in Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue Team you can be sure of exceptional support and encouragement throughout this unique experience.

Teams consist of 4 walkers,  and one support driver.  All will need guts and determination to take on the great outdoors. Team work will be an essential ingredient and you will need to keep each other motivated to get through the long night and the next day.

Our endurance walkers will be supporting two life saving charities:

Action Medical Research -  Your fundraising efforts will be helping to stop suffering in children. Every tough mile completed takes us closer to achieving our mission: to treat sick babies and tackle premature birth, to make life better for children with disabilities, and to target   rare diseases that together severely affect many forgotten children.

Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue Team – Your support will help to ensure that the team can continue to evolve and equip to meet their many challenges.  The team does much more than its name may suggest, their highly trained and committed ‘Search Managers’ work closely with the police, searching for missing children, despondent adults, working at aircraft crashes and assisting during
times of natural disaster.
