Everyone will need to have trained hard and established a good level of fitness.
We will be sending you training tips and regular newsletters to keep you informed and motivated while you are training. But don’t worry, you won't be left behind as we have a great team of guides.
No, vehicles will be carrying all our gear and our meals will be cooked for us. You will be expected to carry a day pack, which will contain items such as sun hat, sun screen, water and camera. All you have to do is concentrate on enjoying the magnificent views and experience of China!
No, you will need to bring good quality walking boots - walking poles are a very good idea. A packing checklist will be sent to you once you register your interest.
The entire £199 non-refundable registration fee goes to Action Medical Research. It is used to fund all administration involved in organising the trek with resources, staffing, paperwork, production of fundraising and information packs and advertising.
Accommodation will be in hotels and lodges throughout the challenge route.
