Bakkavör Group is a leading international food manufacturing company specialising in fresh prepared foods and produce. The Group operates about 55 factories and employs over 20,000 people in eight countries. Bakkavör is the largest provider of fresh prepared foods and produce in the UK and have chosen to support Action Medical Research’s Touching Tiny Lives campaign for the next three years. The relationship will include staff fundraising, printer and phone recycling, and events.
Since becoming an Action Partner, Bakkavör Group has already raised over £20,000 thanks to ten Bakkavör employees took part in a sponsored Ice Cap trek - a 100km journey across remote areas of Iceland - organised by the charity at the end of June.
