ZipVit raise another £50,000 for Action Medical Research!

ZipVit Cheque Presentation of £50,000 for Action Medical Research

£50,000 has been raised thanks to the latest promotion whereby a donation of £1 is made to the Charity by ZipVit for each order received of £25 or over. Customers also receive a recycling bag, encouraging them to recycle their old toner cartridges and mobile phones to raise additional funds for the Action Medical Research.

This donation has been dedicated to fund work on osteoporosis, and in particular, Professor Chris Langton's project. This study aims to produce an improved ultrasound measurement that will improve our ability to predict who is likely to suffer a hip fracture in the future and thereby prescribe preventative treatment.

This latest donation builds upon £60,000 already raised in the past 4 years - an incredible achievement.

Not content with this feat Managing Director, Warren Bailey, and his wife Veronica have also signed up to complete the London to Paris bike ride in July.

Being an Action Partner for ZipVit means they have a direct impact on the success of their chosen research area, and thus become a real partner to the medical breakthroughs the Charity is aiming for. They are kept up to date with the latest developments in the medical work they are funding and receive exclusive reports and updates on each specific project area and its progress.

ZipVit is a family owned company, selling a wide variety of healthcare products both via catalogue and on-line. As a company that sells vitamins to improve and maintain health and mobility, they felt that Action Medical Research would be a natural partner as the Charity funds vital research into many areas that are of particular interest to their customers, such as osteoporosis and arthritis.
