Select yes if you want your email address published on the page you are creating. People can then contact you directly if they wish.
By ticking this option you give us permission to add your email address to our e-newsletter mailing list.
We hope this will help to keep you informed about the work of the charity and the research your donation will help fund.
The newsletter comes out six times a year at the beginning of February, April, June, August, October and December.
If you have your own website enter the address here. It will be published on the page you are creating.
Enter your website’s address in full, like this: http://www.example.com/
Please name the event you are doing for Action Medical Research — e.g. London Marathon, Nepal Trek, Cycle Round Australia.
Only to be completed if you are taking part in a team event, for example Race the Sun or Three Peaks.
Your team name will then be displayed on your sponsorship page instead of your personal name.
If you don’t know the exact date, please use an approximate one.
Your sponsorship account will expire three months after this date.
Select the category that applies to your event
If your event is not a Trek, Bike Ride, Marathon, or 3 Peaks Challenge, select ‘Other’.
Do not use commas or full stops! E.g. for a target of £3,000.00 just enter 3000.
If you haven’t a target yet, no problem — you can always enter one later.
This is your message to potential sponsors and will appear on your own page. Please describe what you’re doing and why. Some examples you could use are:
Please choose a username between 4 and 25 alphanumeric characters that you can use to confirm your identity when you log in to your account.
The username you choose will form a part of your online account's web address, so please choose appropriately and do not include spaces or non-alphanumeric characters.
It is best to make this as easy to remember as possible.

Publish a picture of yourself. Your account page will look ten times better with a picture, and help you to attract even more sponsorship.
You must use a jpeg, gif or png image as these can be displayed by web browsers.
The image will appear in a narrow column, 180 pixels wide, on the right hand side of your public account details page. If you upload an image wider than 180 pixels, the Online Sponsorship system will scale it down.
The maximum file size allowed for your image is 150kb.
If you do not currently have an image, you can leave this field blank, and upload one later.
If you want people to sponsor you online you will need to give them as much information about you and the event as possible, just as you would do when asking people to sponsor you face to face.
