Lake District 100 - 22 September 2013

Join us for the Lake District 100 – our final RIDE 100 event of the season set in stunning surroundings. This tough challenge starts from Keswick and has everything you would expect from a ride in this beautiful national park: great climbs, fast descents and sections where the water’s edge is not too far away. Riders will pass through some of the most dramatic landscapes the UK has to offer and finish with a great sense of achievement.

With a choice of a 56-mile route or a tougher 101-mile route you'll have a great day in the saddle with the Action Medical Research team, helping to fund vital research for sick and disabled babies and children. Whether you are an experienced rider aiming to get a fast time or a rider aiming to make a day of it and take in the sights, this ride is for you.

Expect excellent feed stations manned by friendly volunteers and a buffet style lunch mid-way through the ride that you will find hard to tear yourself away from! Riders will be supported by first class medical support, mechanical services and a sweep vehicle.

Distance	Classic - 56 mile Champion - 101 mile
Start/finish	The Cricket Pavilion, Fitz Park, Keswick. Cumbria CA12 4NF
Registration open	7.30 - 9.00am. Champion riders set off from 7.45am - 8.30am. Classic riders from 8.30 - 9.15am. Less experienced riders should set off as early as possible.
Ride finishes	6.30pm
Local information	There is limited on road parking nearby, two car parks at the Park and a selection of pay and display car parks in Keswick. Nearest railway stations are Penrith and Windermere
