Wrexham resident Ron Hughes is getting on his bike to tackle a 296-mile ride from London to Paris this summer – after not cycling for more than 50 years.
Ron, from Gwersyllt, signed up for the children’s charity’s iconic challenge after being persuaded by pal Keith Corbett, a three-time veteran of the ride, to take part.
After snapping up a bike custom-made by Keith, now adorned with his nickname ‘Rocket’ as well as Action’s logo, he’s back on two wheels ahead of the tour from 22-26 July.
