Looking for ways of getting in tip top condition for the Trossachs Ton cycle ride?  Perhaps you've never done a bike ride before or what some help with the training or just fancy a cycle with like minded individuals?  Then check out the following.

One of our supporters and helper on last years ride has set up a cycling forum to provide a method of organising regular cycle rides in and around the Larbert area. Primarily this forum is set up for the less experienced cyclists or complete novices prior to them making the leap and joining a local club.

This isn't a club, no committee members making the decisions and no offence will be taken if smaller splinter groups form after several months when riders capabilities are known. The forum is set up to allow discussions to take place with a view to getting more people off the couch and on their bikes. No one will be left behind on the regular rides as the pace will be set by the slowest rider. This is suitable for people new to cycling who may or may not wish to participate in some sportives in 2010. It is intended to have regular rides both at the weekends and midweek throughout the winter months.  No mechanical knowledge of bikes is required as it can be picked up along the way.
