Such a lovely sunny day in the beautiful English countryside greeted all the intrepid riders and the course ran through the most amazing views of Sussex and Hampshire. It was harder than I expected and I found the only thing that kept me focused when pedalling up Duncton Hill was the fact that I was doing it for a brilliant charity.
The feed station "ladies" were brilliant and the big bowl of jelly babies a life saver!
It was great challenge and I would recommend to anyone and will be back next year to get a better time!

May 2012A massive thank you to everyone at Action for a brilliant DIVA 100 today - it was brilliantly organised - a great route (despite the nasty hills but it is the South Downs after all) and I thoroughly enjoyed myself - think I might have to do it again next year. I was really impressed with the organisation and lots of friendly faces. The feed stations were excellent as was the lovely packed lunch which was very welcome and the massage was much needed - despite it hurting I knew it was helping to mend the muscles! To offer these as part of the day is really impressive considering it's a fundraising event. My 2 daughters were delighted with the lip gloss in the good bag and spotted it very quickly!
So I just wanted to say thank you for a brilliant event - everything was thought of in so much detail and I look forward to doing another ride for Action - I hope you've raised lots and lots of money for a well deserving charity

May 2012I hadn't rode a bike for a good 20 years until Sunday, fortunately I have been spinning 3 to 4 times a week for the last 18 months which helped me in completing the 100k, we unfortunately did an extra 5 miles due to the sign on a283 not being easily visible.....was a fantastic event with great feed stations, looking forward to the next one....I now have the cycling bug....well done to all those that completed the ride on Sunday x

May 2012Hi, this is the 1st time I have done a charity cycle ride and it won't be the last. My friend had dropped out so I was doing it on my own, one of my concerns was getting lost but, after the 1st 20k i had faith in the signs and could relax a bit. The feed stations were brilliant and very well received, thank you. Can you believe the only place I made an error, was, as you approach the final roundabout coming into Midhurst, I couldn't see any arrow signs, but my sense of direction told me I should have been going N E not West.
Thank you for providing a very well organised, safe event, I shall be doing it next year.
I shall now be investing in a new bike as I felt 'My Little Pony' needs an upgrade.
Well done everyone.

May 2012I was bought a new bike last year, and it was sitting in the garage unused.
I was reading about "Women Only Events" in my OH's cycling mag about this event and decided about 3 weeks before the day to take part in a local one as a little challenge to myself.
I managed to squeeze in 3 training rides of 15 miles each and completed the 50km route in around 3 hours (OK, just over!) and felt immensly pleased with myself. It has made me realise how much fun being out on your bike can be, and made me determined to get fitter and lose some weight.
A great event, well organised and good fun.
I am aiming to do the 100 km in 2012 - so see you then!

May 2011It was very well organised event! We had a hard task to complete, but at the end sence of achievment of overcome numerious hills made it worth the effort.

February 2011Hi,
have just signed up to take part in this event, the 8th of May is my 40th birthday and I set myself the challenge of cycling 100km by my 40th birthday, perfect :-)) I live in Scotland so myself and my family are going to make a weekend of it and travel down to take part in the event. I have over the last year lost over 4 stone and that has been done with using Davina's dvd's and cycling and this challenge has really motivated me towards my 40th birthday.
Training here I come x
