we won a grand on the lottery tonight. *hurrah*
Aubrey and Edmund are just fine, they're twelve/thirteen pounds now, but fat with it, and giggling, and grabbing, and just starting to roll themselves over. They flirt like crazy and don't sleep at all.
Aubrey has found his voice, at the moment he sounds like bartender mo from the simpsons, whilst Edmund sounds like a home counties vicar talking down to the gardener.
pics soon. thanks everyone.
They're both absolutely great. no oxygen in the day, lots of activity, curiousity, interaction the works.
They do have a weird habit when sitting facing each other, of talking in this strange baby-noise language which is not like the usual noises they make to other people. and they blink and laugh without any obvious cues, as if they were telepathically sharing a joke...DUN DUN DUNNNNN..
NYARRRrr! says the viking!
There's something i want to get off my chest on the subject of our twins.
WHY DO PEOPLE LOOK AT THEM AND SAY " OOH..DOUBLE TROUBLE!!"??
What's that about? Would I point at their single kid and say " OOH, THEY LOOK LIKE A SOURCE OF STRESS AND ANXIETY "? No.
I usually reply (with a fixed grin) yeah, and double joy. Can these people not imagine how completely sublime it is when our boys look at each other and smile as if they were thinking "Have we got a lot of fun to be had?"
HAVE A FABULOUS FRIDAY...WEEKEND..BANK HOLIDAY...from the King of the Elves

As a forward-thinking charity, Action Medical Research is creating a healthier future for everyone. Although we will still fund work into a wide range of diseases and conditions affecting all age groups, Touching Tiny Lives will give extra impetus towards solving the problems of pregnancy, childbirth and the early years.

Happy birthday to two very special little boys.
Born at 25 weeks and 4 days the twins are already veteran charity campaigners for the Action Medical Research Touching Tiny Lives campaign and we have been lucky enough to follow their amazing first year on this website.
