The Renfrewshire 100 (formerly the Glasgow 100) charity cycling sportive sets out from a fabulous new venue with new routes. Riders can expect some challenging terrain on this bike ride raising funds for sick and disabled babies and children. This cycling event features the shires south of Glasgow that are dotted with lochs across the rugged landscape. Offering a unique mixture of town, country and coast, this bike ride will appeal to cyclists who enjoy variety and can rise to a challenge.
The Classic 72 mile route is a great introduction to distance cycling with the more challenging Champion at 101 miles ideal for experienced riders and regular Sportive participants.
Enjoy a great day in the saddle raising funds for Action Medical Research on this cycling event with first class support throughout the day.
What the riders said
Really enjoyed the 100Km ride. Will be back to try the 100 mile route next year. Thanks to everyone who gave up their time to make it happen.
Great Ride, really enjoyed it. Big thank you all who helped organise it. Was as close to riding the cobbles of Paris-Roubaix as I'll get!! Will be back to do it again next year.
Had a great day taking part in my first sportive - glad I opted for 100km though as it was quite hilly! Thanks to all the stewards and marshals for their support and organisation. Was really ready for lunch when we got to the lunch stop and it was great, as was the first feed stop. Looking forward to taking part in more events.
Took part in the 100 mile sportive today (my first) and would like to express my thanks on how well the event was organised and say a big thanks to all the volunteers who got out their beds far to early on a Sunday morning!
