Suffolk Sunrise 100

This was my first sportive and I thought the organisation was excellent with great food & drink stops, a good route, mechanics, photographers and a goody bag at the end. The weather could have been better early on but by the time I finished Suffolk was looking at its very best in the sunshine. The route takes in some of the best bits of Suffolk by skimming along the coast then turning inland to take in the pretty villages, quiet country lanes and a beautiful view of Framlingham Castle. Thanks to all for a great day out.

This was my 2nd time of riding the Suffolk 100 and yet again the organisation was excellent. The weather was a slight challenge early on with the added bonus of flints and gravel for all to contend with, and the punctures were plentiful. This years route was well signed and better without the novel ferry crossing at Bawdsey. The food stops were superb again.I would like to thank all the volunteers involved with the event as this makes it all worthwhile. Thanks again. Simon Oxley. Bedford.
