Could you thank the team for their fantastic organisation of the Action 100 event. Having entered alone, I felt comfortable that there would be support if something went wrong. When there was no one in sight to follow, the signs were reliable and the stops were wonderfully prepared. What charming people the event attracted. Not only will I be bragging for a few weeks about having completed the course I shall also be recommending to others.

I just wanted to say I thought the Action 100 was a fantastic event, really well organised, great food stations and a lovely route. The atmosphere amongst the riders was really good and I will definitely be doing it again!

Thanks for a great day out.

Having done 25 consecutive rides I suppose I am fairly well placed to make a judgment in which case I can assure you there are no complaints from either me or my fellow riders .Quite the opposite actually.

We all look forward to next year.

It was a very well organised event. The volunteers and road crews were extremely friendly and helpful. The last time I did this ride was 18 years ago when most of the route from Theale was on A4. Although the 'new' route still has one or two challenging bits, i.e. traffic, it is much safer and pleasanter. I had a marvelous day and hope that I am fit enough in the future to give it at least one more go.

I am 16 and participated in this ride with my dad this year, and I am pleased to say we both had a great time. It was my first 100 miles so I was very weary of whether I was up to the challenge. The route was very forgiving as the 2 biggest hills were out the way in the first 30 miles which meant we could cruise the last 70 into London. This downhill section meant we completed the ride in 7 hours 20 minutes which was much better than our 10 hour goal. There were also sections where the gradient increased and I reached over 40mph which added to the excitement. The ride was very well organised and all the signs were clear. We were pleasantly surprised with the lunchtime stop. The food was excellent, there was a salad bar, rolls, pasta all for no extra cost.
After this experience I am looking forward to doing more Action Medical rides next year.
