Hi,
Thank you very much for visiting my sponsorship page for Ride24 - a 24 hour cycle race!
I am raising money for Action Medical Research, a fantastic charity for children's - dedicated to improving the health of babies and children in the UK.
For almost 60 years the charity has been behind numerous breakthroughs such as the UK polio vaccine, ultrasound scanning in pregnancy, and a new state-of-the-art fetal heart rate monitor that could help save thousands of at-risk babies.
And closest of all to my heart is that you will also be supporting research to reduce premature birth, prevent pregnancy complications that threaten babies' lives, and find the best ways to care for sick and vulnerable babies.
As you may know, little Finn was born prematurely and suffered some complications - it is thanks to generous people like you, sponsoring people like me, doing mad things like this that meant he received excellent treatment and is now fine. 25 years ago, he may not have survived.
Please tick the Gift Aid box if you are a UK tax payer as the UK Government will contribute an additional 25% on the money that I have raised.
