Hi,
Thank you for visiting my sponsorship page.
Last year we cycled from London to Brighton, this year I am cycling from London to Paris!!!
This is a ride I will do in memory of my Dad, the best Dad, coach, husband, granddad, uncle, brother and friend ever.
We often talked about doing this ride and the Ad would always catch his eye in his favourite cycling mag “...We’ll have to do this ride sometime son...” I can remember him saying. I will do it with my Dad on my shoulder and remember, with fond affection, the many miles and training sessions we put in together. Thanks Dad......
I look forward to arriving in Paris the day before the Tour de France riders make it and look forward to sharing a bottle of champagne with you on the Champs-Élysées and to raising a glass to my Dad.
See you there!!!
Many thanks for your support; any contribution you can make is gratefully received.
My chosen charity this year is Action Medical Research, a great children's charity dedicated to improving the health of babies and children in the UK.
For almost 60 years the charity has been behind numerous breakthroughs such as the UK polio vaccine, ultrasound scanning in pregnancy, and more recently the fetal heart rate monitor a new state-of-the-art device that could help save thousands of at-risk babies.
Action Medical Research relies entirely on donations to fund a range of research projects that address serious childhood conditions and improve quality of life for children with disabilities.
You will also be supporting the Touching Tiny Lives appeal which is raising funds to help reduce premature birth and improve care of sick and vulnerable babies. Your support will help continue this potentially life-saving work.
Please tick the Gift Aid box if you are a UK tax payer as the UK Government will contribute an additional 25% on the money that I have raised.
Thanks again.

Finally I am managing to update my webpage, up load some pictures and to say.......I DID IT!!!!!
I would not have been able to do it without the support and love from all of my sponsors, friends and family.
It was a fantastic experience, I had the pleasure of riding with some great people and completing the ride in memory of my Dad, who I will never forget.
