Event: Trek Machu Picchu 2010
Date of event: 18 September 2010
Hi,
Thank you for visiting my sponsorship page.
Do you realise that this challenge includes me having to sleep in a TENT!! (those that know me well will realise which part of the challenge is worrying me most!) - no comfy bed, no running water, and disaster.. no gadgets lol. However, it will all be worth it. So please, dig deep, just a pound or maybe more, anything you can spare would be fantastic.
I am raising money for Action Medical Research, a great children's charity dedicated to improving the health of babies and children in the UK.
For almost 60 years the charity has been behind numerous breakthroughs such as the UK polio vaccine, ultrasound scanning in pregnancy, and more recently the fetal heart rate monitor a new state-of-the-art device that could help save thousands of at-risk babies.
Action Medical Research relies entirely on donations to fund a range of research projects that address serious childhood conditions and improve quality of life for children with disabilities.
You will also be supporting the Touching Tiny Lives appeal which is raising funds to help reduce premature birth and improve care of sick and vulnerable babies. Your support will help continue this potentially life-saving work.
Please tick the Gift Aid box if you are a UK tax payer as the UK Government will contribute an additional 25% on the money that I have raised.
Thanks again.
To date I've raised £2,010.00 total online. In addition to this, the government's Gift Aid Scheme has raised a further £476.25
Please help me reach my target of £4,000.00 by sponsoring me.
You can leave a message for me when you sponsor me. Thanks.
