Well thanks again to all recent sponsors! Trainings going ok I think "Have I done enough", spring to mind know what I mean? I am positive after the ride with Dave yesterday.
Rutland cycle tour, as bad as it gets weatherwise, but excellent physical mental stamina builder! Not gonna worry bout the weather come end2endnow bring it on!

Thanks to all my freinds for sponsoroing me and helping me raise money for Action medical research. 1st 100 plus miler last week and 1st cycle to work last Friday = total 185miles.
Just adding some training updates, alls well with 215 miles ridden in the last two weeks...Brrrrrrr cold !!! need to up the sponsoring campagn too.. more later....

Lakes 100 was a gruelling challenge, avery corner a hill, the hardest yet, felt below par after a cold, nearly threw in the towel at mile 33! Did not give in,elated to have finished! Fantastic event!

Entered the lakes 100 on Sept 25th , looks like a challenge!! Ha cycle training is good with 2 x 107 milers on the Bransdale route accomplished, lifes good. Oh apart from my bad back!! lol..

Completed a grueling 105 mile Cross pennine 100 on Sunday easy peezy?? Bsc work collegues helped turn a £10 Tesco voucher into £55 by estimating my finishing time. Thankyou all at work.........
6 hour s on turbo at Tesco s Market Weighton on Saturday saw a collection of just short of £350. Thanks to Sarah Hargreaves and Helen and cups a tea etc from staff, great day ....Thankyou.

Well sometimes you have to stop talking and get doing. So on May 26th 2012 I will be embarking on the End to End Challenge. Cycling from Lands End to John O Groats.
I am raising money for Action Medical Research, a great children's charity dedicated to improving the health of babies and children in the UK.
For almost 60 years the charity has been behind numerous breakthroughs such as the UK polio vaccine, ultrasound scanning in pregnancy, and more recently the fetal heart rate monitor a new state-of-the-art device that could help save thousands of at-risk babies.
Action Medical Research relies entirely on donations to fund a range of research projects that address serious childhood conditions and improve quality of life for children with disabilities.
You will also be supporting research to reduce premature birth, prevent pregnancy complications that threaten babies' lives, and find the best ways to care for sick and vulnerable babies.
Please tick the Gift Aid box if you are a UK tax payer as the UK Government will contribute an additional 25% on the money that I have raised.
