Im riding to Paris in aid of Action Medical Research Touching Tiny Lives Appeal, its a special campaign to help sick and vulnerable babies. Every year 70,000 babies are born with special needs and special care requirements and 50, 000 are born prematurely. not enough money is raised to help find the causes and treatments for conditions which affect expectant mothers.
EVERY 11 MINUTES a child is born prematurely in the UK.
Action medical research has already developed ultrasound technology in pregnancy, pioneered the polio vaccine in the UK. and discovered the link between folic acid and preventing spina bifida.
Im riding for this important cause as we all have or desire to have children in our lifetime, if we don't support or offer our pledges who will carry this work on. I certainly believe they should receive our help, as it may be you who needs their expetise.
