Thank you for visiting our sponsorship page and i hope you can donate to this worth while cause.  One lunch time at work I spotted a leaflet advertising the challenge and the charity it was supporting.  After discussing the event with a few close colleagues we decided to form 2 teams and enter the challenge (Team 1 comprises of myself Stuart Adams, Charlie Ten-Broeke, Jonny Hiles, Oliver Dawe and Chesney Windsor and Team 2 includes Jon Ball, Mark Beale, Paul Bennett, James McNicol and David Nock).  The challenge comprises of a 40 mile none stop walk over the Cotswold Way starting in Dursley (at midnight Friday 10th June), then finishing at Cleeve Hill, Cheltenham some 15 hours later; a small amount of rivalry has already developed between the 2 teams and some early training has already commenced, no doubt this will increase on both fronts over the coming months.  We have been told its a tough and grueling challenge, but the cause associated with this outweighs the pain.

Action Medical Research, a great children's charity dedicated to improving the health of babies and children in the UK.  For almost 60 years the charity has been behind numerous breakthroughs such as the UK polio vaccine, ultrasound scanning in pregnancy, and more recently the fetal heart rate monitor a new state-of-the-art device that could help save thousands of at-risk babies.

Action Medical Research relies entirely on donations to fund a range of research projects that address serious childhood conditions and improve quality of life for children with disabilities.

You will also be supporting research to reduce premature birth, prevent pregnancy complications that threaten babies' lives, and find the best ways to care for sick and vulnerable babies.

Please tick the Gift Aid box if you are a UK tax payer as the UK Government will contribute an additional 25% on the money that I have raised.

Thanks again.
