Last year the Star Inn fielded a small team of rank amateurs to complete the London to Paris cycle ride. We raised £13,000 for Action Medical Research, and so in 2008 a much larger team of 22 rank amateurs will ride from Bentworth to Paris via London with the goal of beating the 2007 total. The ride is just part of our fund-raising efforts, and we’re also planning fundraising dinners, auctions and other activities to raise our target of £25,000. We’ll be covering our own costs, so your donation goes directly to the charity.
