WELCOME & Thank you for visiting the sponsorship page of myself Thomas O'Mahony. (and dont ask me who bloody dragged me into this challenge.....)
I, with 8 other members of the DOA (Dead On Arrival, (in Paris that is..)) team are taking on this truly awesome small physical challenge of cycling from London to Paris (A WEE BIT OVER 325MILES) on July 22nd for Action Medical Research, a great charity that funds pioneering medical research and as a team we are aiming to raise an amazing team target of £15,500.00 (yep that much) for this great charity.....
Action Medical Research (www.action.org.uk) is the most forward thinking charity who believe diseases and disabilities can be beaten, and through medical research they are creating a healthier future for everyone. They have been making medical breakthroughs for over 50years - including helping develop the uk polio vaccine, ultrasound scanning in pregnancy and the hip replacement operation - saving contless lives and preventing disesease and disability including tackling the problem of premature baby deaths.
The DOA team are formed from friends/partners of the following companies who are joined together as one team from being clients, contractors, designers, supply chain partners and consultants all brought together now for this great cause of supporting Action Medical Research...
Teams Companies invloved..... Tishman Speyer, ACORN Intergrated Systems Ltd, Arups, Me, Miller Druck International Ltd & not Forgetting ...SKANSKA
In addition to this awesome 325mile ride, we are ALSO taking part in the 100mile day ride (something about training someone said) again for medical research... The castle 100, Kent on the 17th May
So PLEASE DIG DEEP and help the team in our efforts in helping Medical Research and us acheive our goal of acheiving our huge target of £15,500.00..making it all the worth while for sitting on that saddle as we wonder down into Paris.....
We and I do certainly appreciate what ever you can sponsor us, however Big or small it may be...it all helps and matters.....ALSO..Please dont forget to tick the Gift Aid box if you are a UK tax payer as the UK Government will then give me an additional 25% on the money that I have raised.
