I am well on my way to another £200.00.
I would like to help raise some money for childrens charities. The charity I have chosen is Action Medical Research for Children for Life. their research is aimed at:
- giving more babies a better start – tackling life-threatening pregnancy complications, reducing premature birth and improving care for sick babies
- stopping suffering in children – finding ways to protect children from deadly infections, improving quality of life for children with disabilities, and tackling both rare and common childhood diseases
- improving health for all – developing new treatments and techniques to address a range of conditions that can affect both the young and the old
I have chosen a tough challenge for this and it is the Winchester 100 mile cycle event. I will have to start training now to make sure that I am ready for such a tough event.
