Action Medical Research is delighted to be benefitting from the M&S Charity Challenge which is an opportunity for M&S employees and associates to help raise £1 million this June for five charity partners.
A large part of this target was centred around the Bike24 cycle ride held at Rockingham Race Track on the 22-23 June 2013. Around 1,500 M&S employees, mostly in team of four but with some solo riders too, who took on the challenge of cycling for twenty-four hours around the 3.5 mile race track to raise money for charity.
It was an amazing day and Action were proud to get involved by cheering on the cyclists right through the night in the wind and rain.
In addition a group of committed cyclists pedalled from offices in Paris to London – Arc to Arch – in just three days to raise even more money.
