Premature birth – a mother speaks out

Every week, 25 babies die in the UK as a result of premature birth. Action Medical Research's Touching Tiny Lives fundraising appeal is aiming to support high-quality medical research to help better understand the causes and prevention of premature birth. The appeal is supported by the charity's STAND UP for Tiny Lives Campaign which is working to persuade the Government to commit to a Premature Birth Inquiry to uncover more about the causes of premature birth and to devise an appropriately funded national strategy to tackle this national crisis.
