More than 600 cyclists gathered this August bank holiday weekend to take part in the 25th anniversary Action100 bike ride, making it the biggest ride to date.

The event, which takes cyclists from Bristol and Bath to London, began in 1982. This year, cyclists ranged in age from twelve to 76, and sponsorship is hoped to total £75,000, adding to the staggering £850,000 raised by Action100 cyclists since the event began.
Community Fundraising Manager, Jennifer Reid, commented,”We are really pleased with how the ride went. We are particularly grateful to our sponsor Peter White and our media partners, Bristol Evening Post, for their help in recruiting so many cyclists. I’d also like to thank all those involved on the day for their support and generosity.”
