Question: Do I need insurance?
Answer: We recommend that you have cover for you and your bike.
Question: Are spare parts available for my bike?
Answer: Yes, for most common bikes. Spares are chargeable.
Question: What happens if I get lost or get into difficulties on the day?
Answer: On the day you will be given a contact number for our ride control, who will help with any issues. There will be a mechanic on the route and a sweep vehicle to collect you.
Question: How long do I have to complete the ride and what happens if I can't complete the distance?
Answer: The ride closes at 17.30. If you need a lift in our sweep vehicle, we have one for you. Very slow riders may be picked up and moved on.
Question: Do I need to wear a cycle helmet?
Answer: You must wear a cycle helmet to take part.
Question: How old do I need to be to take part?
Answer: You must be at least 16 on the day of the event to take part; if you are under 18 you must be accompanied by an adult.
Question: Do I need to be a member of a Senior Management Team, a Chief Executive or a Managing Director to take part?
Answer: Yes, this is a bespoke ride for Senior Executives.
Question: What facilities are available?
Answer: There will be changing facilities at the start and finish. Your belongings/valuables should be locked in your car or carried with you. There is a feed station approximately half way around the route and dinner is provided at the finish, including vegetarian options.
Question: Is there any additional costs for food on the day?
Answer: There is a £30 cost for your dinner. This will be paid when you register for the event. The food and drinks at the start of the event and at the feed station half way around are all covered by sponsorship.
