Easter Trail - 30 March 2018

Bring your wellies for a fun action packed Easter trail through stunning organic farm grounds

Cycling2 events

York 100 - 19 August 2018

The Vale of York and the Yorkshire Wolds, plus the magnificent Castle Howard and the Howardian Hills (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) are just some of the highlights you’ll see on the York 100 charity cycling sportive. You can experience some of the best cycling terrain in England on this bike ride raising funds for vital medical research to help sick and disabled babies and children.   

If you are relatively new to cycling you may want to try our Classic 68 mile route which will provide you with a great ride and a fantastic challenge. Or if you’re an experienced cyclist or sportive rider the Champion route at 100 miles is the perfect distance to push yourself to the limit.

Join the Action Medical Research team on this charity cycling event and enjoy a great day in the saddle with first class support throughout the day.

Race the Sun Lake District - 1 September 2018

This is the thirteenth year of this exciting triathlon-style adventure challenge. Teams of four will be attempting to complete cycling, climbing and canoeing sections of the challenge starting just before sunrise and aiming to finish before sunset – racing the sun! You will cycle approximately 50 miles (80km), hike to the summit of England’s second highest mountain – Helvellyn at 3,116ft (950m) and canoe a 3km course on Lake Thirlmere (Canoe experience is not essential).

The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge - 17 June 2018

Join us as we climb Yorkshire’s mighty 3 peaks

Join Team Action and climb the mighty 3 peaks of Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent in just one day! These peaks make up part of the beautiful Pennine range and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. 

Come solo or bring a team – this challenge is perfect for anyone looking for that ultimate challenge. Conquering all three climbs will leave you feeling mighty whilst at the same time helping to fund research for sick babies and children.

Grab those hiking boots and do something amazing – help save and change children’s lives.
