Castle Ride - 13 May 2018

Tonbridge Castle is the setting for the Castle Ride 100 charity cycling sportive that will see over 1,000 cyclists depart from the castle grounds.  Kent serves up a mixture of quiet villages and beautiful scenery as you meander along quiet lanes. Expect some tough climbs on this charity bike ride as you pedal through the challenging North Downs - the views are spectacluar and well worth the effort.  Help us raise vital funds to help sick and disabled babies and children.

Enjoy a great day in the saddle with the Action Medical Research team on this cycling event with first class support throughout the day.

Davina's Big Sussex Bike Ride - 10 June 2018

Ride for a reason on this female-friendly ride and join our celebrity ambassador and TV presenter Davina McCall on this bike ride raising funds for sick babies and children. Davina will be there in person to set you off on your way, and then she will ride the route to try to catch you up! You might just manage to catch her at one of the well-stocked rest stops or at the hearty BBQ lunch served at the finish line which is in the grounds of the beautiful East Sussex National Hotel.

Race the Sun Isle of Wight - 30 June 2018

After the phenomenal success of our Race the Sun challenges in the Lake District and Brecon Beacons, the Race the Sun Isle of Wight launched in 2017 and has already become a popular addition to the series.

London to Paris - 25 July 2018

Join the original and best London to Paris Bike Ride – Action have been running this event for over 18 years taking more than 5000 cyclists to Paris.

In 2018 we’ll be riding a particularly special route though Dunkirk, Cambrai and Soissons. Kicking off in London we’ll ride along the rolling fields and villages of rural Kent, passing orchards and traditional oast houses and tackling the North Downs before taking the ferry from Dover to Dunkirk. In France we’ll head South through small villages and farmland which saw a great deal of action in WW1. You’ll notice the Flemish influence in the region as it used to be part of Flanders. Day 2 finishes in Cambrai, a town which dates back to Roman times.

Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 - 29 July 2018

Join Team Action in July on this Olympic Legacy route starting from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London. Cycling on closed roads you'll soon be whizzing your way through the streets of London and then out into the beautiful Surrey Hills, tackling climbs such as Leith and the infamous Box Hill. Achieving your goal you'll then head back to London to a hero’s welcome as you cross that finish line and all to help save and change children’s lives!

The Big Half - 4 March 2018

Join 20,000 runners on this brand new half marathon starting at Tower Bridge and taking in the best sights of East London before finishing by the Cutty Sark in Greenwich. Take a look at the route here.

Once you've conquered your run you can enjoy The Big Festival, a unique festival that embraces all that the wonderful city of London has to offer. Your family and your friends are invited to join you in the beautiful setting of Greenwich where you will be able to enjoy food from around the world and the best young music acts from around the capital.

Join Team Action in this fantastic race through the heart of London’s historic centre and help us save and change the lives of sick and disabled babies and children.

The London 10,000 is a 10-kilometre race which starts and finishes in St James’s Park with Buckingham Palace as the backdrop.The route takes in many of London’s most famous sights including Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, The London Eye, Leadenhall Market, St Paul's Cathedral, Horseguards and Nelson's Column.

Trek The Night - South Downs Way - 14 July 2018

It’s midnight. Most people are asleep. But not you.

You’ve got a map, a torch, some hiking shoes and you’re ready to do battle. Ready to face the ultimate challenge. The challenge that will try to break you.

Trek the Night is a gruelling 40 mile midnight hike that will push you to your limits. Think you can walk? Think again. This endurance challenge is tough, muddy, painful and a hell of a lot of fun.

Perfect for team bonding or for taking on your very own personal challenge. Walk it solo or with your friends, colleagues or family.

You’ll need stamina and determination to get you through but once you’ve hit the finish line the sense of accomplishment is unbeatable.
