The Bohemians - a tribute to Queen -  headline band

The Bohemians, established in 1996, re-enact the glory days of Queen including the Craziness of the 70’s and the Magic of the 80’s proving themselves to be the most dynamic and exciting Queen Tribute Band currently touring.

They have performed all over the UK, Europe and the World at football stadiums, festivals, theatres and other prestigious venues. The Bohemians in their majestic magnificence receive standing ovations in response to their electrifying representation of a Queen Live Concert.

Underline The Sky

Fronted by a Half-British, Half-American vocalist, and drawing influences from Fall Out Boy to The Bangles, Underline The Sky kick started their career by winning Road To V 2009 and opening the 4Music Stage at both sites of V Festival that year. This was followed up by the release of their debut EP, and first music video for the track ‘Katie’.

Soon after, the band was chosen as the ‘Best of BBC Introducing’ for Suffolk, and featured on Huw Stephen’s Radio 1 show; ‘The Best of BBC Introducing’. This exposure caught the attention of Ourzone Magazine who posted a four page feature of the band in the magazine’s ‘Found’ section.

After extensively touring this first EP and a handful of self released demo’s, the band announced late 2012 that they were starting the process of writing and demoing for their debut full length. After many set backs throughout the recording process, the band eventually made the decision late 2013 to take the DIY route and self record, produce and release their album. A release date for the album “Here’s Looking At You Kid” is to be announced mid 2014.

PINHEAD

PINHEAD are a four piece rock and power pop band, hailing from south Suffolk England. Formed in 2011 by Charlie Nixon (Guitar), Glyn Lee (Vocals), Harrison Reed (Drums) and Seb Marno (Bass Guitar).

The band have spent the last eighteen months putting their set together of own compositions and covers and gigging at local venues to great acclaim.

Kettle Girls

Heather, Jenny and Ilona have been singing together in one form or another for the past 20 years, beginning with a youth singing group run by Heather with Jenny and Ilona among the members.

The years have passed and some members have moved on as they tend to do.  Now, the Kettle Girls are a three-strong vocal harmony group with a penchant for jazz, folk, contemporary and traditional pieces... They're an eclectic mix of everything and are influenced by noises they love, words that make them laugh, songs that break hearts and any piece that lends itself to a beautiful harmony [and sometimes a prop or two!].

Their four contrasting musical minds have collided to create one of the freshest collections of fun filled pop hits. With one of the busiest Summer’s they’ve ever had planned for 2014 and the release of their debut single in September, the boys will be going up and down the UK bringing their passion and excitement to a new and receptive audience.

Horse Party

Coming on like Fleetwood Mac covering dEUS via Fugazi and early Verve, Horse Party got together after a night spent drinking in a church. Ellie Langley, Seymour Quigley and Shannon Hope were united in a love of  Bjork, Savages, Daughter and terrible movies.

Hailing from Bury St Edmunds, the band are tireless supporters of other Suffolk musicians. They run their own label called Sturm Und Drang Recordings, their own 'Washing Machine' clubnights for local bands and and a Riot Grrrl-inspired fanzine called 'Shut The F*ck Up', which they hand out free at gigs.

Horse Party are a band who have naturally tapped into music’s power to stir a stagnant mentality – as such their debut album, 'Cover Your Eyes', is a harmony of raw, lo-fi expression and liberating rock-your-cares-away hooks. More than anything else though, Seymour describes Horse Party as “the most fun I’ve ever had with other humans”.

Cathedral and Cars

Cathedrals & Cars are a five piece alternative band from East Anglia that formed in 2011. They have been described as ‘a revelation’ and ‘mesmerising’ (B-Side Magazine) and "beautiful yet melancholic' (Generator). From their humble beginnings as an acoustic 3 piece, they have grown rapidly to an atmospheric electric 5 piece with haunting vocals, layered instrumentation and a momentum in the rhythm that holds it all together.

Heartaker

Heartaker are a lively Pop/Rock band from Suffolk, armed with catchy songs and blistering guitar solos. Their influences set them apart from other rock bands as they range from Blues and Rock to Punk and Ska. In 2013 their song "Spare A Dime" off their first EP made it into the Top 10 of the Amnesty international protest song competition out of 700 entries across the UK. Make sure you check them out online as they're releasing a number of videos through their YouTube Channel and are set to play many gigs over the summer.

Chasing Storms

Chasing Storms are an original song writing collaboration from the east coast of England. Much of their music is heavily inspired by the elemental imagery of the striking Suffolk landscape and coastline where they are based.

At the heart of their sound is a delicate blend of Mike’s intricate guitar patterns and Kelly’s captivating vocals, textured with shades of jazz, flamenco and folk. Reflective lyrics, subtle arrangements and accomplished musicianship complete their unique style.

They have performed extensively at music venues, festivals and exclusive occasions, most recently at Montreux Jazz Cafes in Paris and Harrods. Chasing Storms’ music has also been featured on BBC and local radio stations.

April 2014 saw the release of their first E.P. featuring their own compositions Lighthouse, Wave Machine, Doowop and Stormchaser.

Charlie Law & The Cabineers

Brothers Fabian, Jon and Jacob Tierney (The Cabineers) Took British singer-songwriter Charlie Law in as one of their own, and turned his award winning songwriting talents into fully fledged upbeat British country songs. Sounding like Ben Howard meets Paul Simon's 'Graceland', and fronted by a vocal somewhere between Bob Dylan and Sam Cooke, there is a reason why Charlie Law & The Cabineers have been making waves across the music industry.

The Wilsons

The Wilsons are a 5 piece band based in Suffolk, UK. They have been described as a “Very British Americana” but would probably say they were alt.country, whatever that means – although the phrase “desert rock” was thrown at them one drunken evening...

Songwriter Iain Watson writes about the mythical side of the old west: songs of death, destruction, revenge, cannibalism, the gold rush, and gunfights.  Songs inspired by the westerns he watched as a child with his granddad, and then pushed a bit further...

Their first recoding, a 12 track album entitled “Sexy Death and Cowgirls” has yet to make it to a full release, but their latest 6 track mini album/EP “Boot Hill” has been released by Sturm Und Drang and is available on iTunes and www.thewilsonsuk.bandcamp.com.

Jade Donno

Introducing JADE DONNO. After having reached the 'Open Mic UK' finals in January 2011 Jade has been performing live at gigs throughout the local area and London. These have included various charity events, birthday parties, pub gigs and  Open Mic nights. Jade is currently studying a degree in Music and Musical Theatre at Chichester University and this really shows through in her performance.

Jade has performed a wide variety of music including original punk pop with 'Keep 'em Keen', her own music recorded with BGM in London and a wide range of cover songs from pop to Jazz and of course musical theatre numbers.
