Le Tour de Suisse
On Le Tour de Suisse, the Badgers are celebrating their 13th Barking Badgers Tour supporting children's charity Action Medical Research. The Badgers are fantastic supporters of Action, raising £2 million over the past 12 years to save and change the lives of babies and children.
You will be tackling iconic climbs that feature in this years Tour de France and are regulars in the Tour de Suisse and Tour de Romandie. Ride through stunning scenery, from picture postcard views of snow covered peaks and blue sky lakes in Switzerland to the rolling hills of the French Jura; recently voted the top bike destination by the French Cycling Federation. The ride ends with a mountain finish in the quintessentially upmarket ski resort of Gstaad.
The Badgers' tour has been designed to accommodate experienced riders and those who may be taking on their first big adventure on two wheels! Route options will be available each day. You can choose to push yourself to the limit and take on the lung-busting ascents or, for a more relaxing ride, you can opt for the challenging but lower ascent routes.
There are three groups to choose from; the Barking Badgers, whose name needs no explanation; the Badgers, for those that like a challenge; and the Singing Badgers, for those who want to take things a little easier. Whichever route you choose, there’s a challenge for everyone on a tour that offers dramatic scenery and some of the very best cycling in Europe.
There are limited places available on this invitation only tour, so don’t miss your chance to take part in this once-in-a-lifetime trip!
We are all about pushing you to the limit. Join us to improve the quality of life for thousands of sick and vulnerable babies and children. We are able to achieve our goals by helping you achieve yours.
