Four tough mothers from Northumberland have raised £11,638 for children’s charity Action Medical Research after tackling an epic endurance race.
Sisters Jenny Vickers and Ruth Oldfield, along with Nicola Wood and Coco Oates, aka the Hillbilly Beauts team, took part in the gruelling Race the Sun challenge on Saturday, 29 August.

The Garmin Ride Out 2015, on Friday, 4 September, saw a select group of Garmin customers join the Cannondale-Garmin’s professional cycling team for a fundraising ride in the New Forest.

A generous couple from Manchester raised hundreds of pounds for children’s charity Action Medical Research when they opted for donations instead of wedding gifts.
When Paul and Jade Livsey tied the knot on 13 June, they asked guests to give money to help save and change children’s lives in place of the more traditional teapot or toaster.
