Shortly after completing the 300 mile ‘Ziggurat’ cycle from Coulsdon to the French capital, Neil Frost, Site Manager for Brett Landscaping at Cliffe, Sturry & Oare popped the question to his partner Karen Davey!

Action Medical Research is delighted to announce it is the chosen charity for the inaugural ‘Hunts Fun Fest’ on Sunday, 27 August.
The event is being held at Huntingdon Racecourse from midday. There will be live music headlined by the band Into The Ark (as seen on The Voice), a vintage car rally and a kids’ inflatable zone! Action’s mascot Paddington Bear™ will also be there soaking up the atmosphere and having his picture taken.

It is with great sadness that Action Medical Research marks the loss of Paddington Bear™ creator Michael Bond CBE. Michael Bond was involved with Action for over 40 years, following a meeting with our founder Duncan Guthrie in 1976, where it was agreed that Paddington would support the charity as its official mascot.
Through this very special relationship with Paddington Bear we have been able to attract thousands of new supporters who together have raised millions of pounds to help sick babies and children.
