One of the highlights of Suffolk’s social calendar will be back even bigger and better than ever next month as Action Medical Research’s Gig in the Garden returns.
Following on from the sell-out success of the past three years, the three-day festival will take place once again at Wicks Farm, Mendlesham, near Stowmarket, from 8-10 July and tickets are on sale now.

Action Medical Research is on the hunt for members of Paddington’s Make It Grow club as it celebrates 40 years with its official mascot Paddington BearTM.

Riders of all abilities took to the leafy lanes of Sussex on Sunday, 12 June, to join Davina McCall and raise much-needed funds for sick and disabled babies and children.
Some 450 cyclists, including skating legend Jayne Torvill, braved the rain for Davina’s Big Sussex Bike Ride which is expected to raise more than £30,000.

Employees at data and information management software firms Commvault and Pure Storage are racing to raise funds for Action Medical Research – by taking part in its popular London to Paris bike ride.
On 20 July 2016, 30 riders from Commvault and 13 riders from Pure Storage will join forces to cycle 275 miles to the French capital over four days in a bid to raise £64,500 for the UK-wide children’s charity.

Jayne Torvill is once more swapping her ice skates for two wheels after signing up to join Davina McCall again on a charity ride in aid of Action Medical Research.
The skating superstar will be getting back in the saddle to join the charity’s Ambassador for Davina’s Big Sussex Bike Ride on 12 June 2016 to raise funds to save and change the lives of sick and disabled babies and children.

Its unique cream-teas-in-a-box campaign will see the perfect afternoon pick-me-up delivered directly to homes, workplaces and schools across the country on Friday 1 July 2016.

A Tamworth woman has been inspired to swap four wheels for two to tackle a 20-mile bike ride in memory of her friend’s son.
Pippa Bellis, who has athetoid cerebral palsy, meaning all four of her limbs have involuntary movements, will be cycling from Markeaton Park to Elvaston Castle and back again on Sunday, 8 May, in aid of UK-wide children’s charity Action Medical Research.

A team from iTS Leadership in Bearsted are preparing for a 15-mile sponsored walk through central London for a UK-wide children’s charity.
They will be following the route of the London Underground Circle Line from Paddington back to Paddington as part of a bid to raise at least £2,500 for Action Medical Research, Paddington BearTM’s favourite UK charity.

Construction and property development company Willmott Dixon will be taking people back to where it all started for the inaugural Willmott Dixon Classic in aid of children’s charity Action Medical Research.
The company is aiming to raise £50,000 on Friday, 23 September, with up to 200 riders completing a route across Hertfordshire and south Cambridgeshire that takes in the village of Bassingbourn where Willmott Dixon was founded in 1852 after John Willmott was appointed to build a 12-foot well at the nearby Wimpole estate, which is also included in the route.
