Local fundraising group
Our fundraising groups are busy all year planning and organising lots of fantastic events. We have something to suit everyone ranging from opera concerts to auctions, golf days to bike rides, ladies’ lunches to gala dinners.
How much time will I need to commit?
It’s entirely up to you. Ideally we want you to be able to attend meetings when the group plan their fundraising activities and decide what everyone will do.
Do I need to have any special skills?
Not really. If you enjoy meeting people and working in a team then you will fit in. There are many different roles you could take on, such as selling tickets, planning or supporting an event, finding raffle or auction prizes. You may even have specialist skills or talents that could help us, we would love to know about them.
Do I have to join an existing group? Can I start my own group?
You can sign up and join a group or start your own. We are always looking for people who want to create another fundraising group. If you can spare the time, have some great ideas and know people who could help then we want to hear from you. We've got a bumper pack of materials to get you started.
