School Champions

Could you visit a school, talk about Action and ask them to fundraise?

We have vacancies now for School Champion Volunteers.

What is a School Champion?

School Champion volunteers

  • visit all types of schools and all ages from nursery to sixth form.
  • talk about the charity using a toolkit provided and ask the school to fundraise or to choose the charity to benefit from school events (such as school fairs, plays and shows).

What do you need to be a School Champion?

You need a small amount of time to visit one or two (or more) local  schools.

What else do you need?

You need to be reliable and have a small amount of time available in term -time. 

You also need  good  communication skills particularly with young people

Is the role paid?

No. This is a volunteer role but local travel expenses are reimbursed.
