Action Medical Research strengthens fundraising team
10 November 2004
Action Medical Research has strengthened its fundraising team with two senior appointments.
Lewis Coghlin joins the Charity as Director of Fundraising from the British Red Cross where he was Head of National Fundraising. With over 12 years’ charity experience, Lewis will lead a team giving greater emphasis to relationship fundraising and will head up the Charity’s push to sign up more committed donors.
Lewis says ‘This is a really exciting time for the Charity, we recently re-branded and there’s a genuine spirit of innovation and enterprise in the team. Our ‘Touching Tiny Lives’ campaign is a huge opportunity to increase our profile and attract corporate and major supporters.’
With its new emphasis, the Charity has appointed Helen Dunn to the new role of Head of Relationship Fundraising. Joining from Sunderland AFC Foundation, Helen brings 7 years’ fundraising experience to the Charity and is charged with developing recruitment of high value donors and recruiting an appeal board.
